Veronica Del Bianco is a versatile and adventurous freelance writer and blogger that regularly writes about the food industry, science and the environment, and anything eco-friendly that catches her eye. In 2011, she was named a fellow of Loyola University New Orleans’ Institute of Environmental Communication.
Del Bianco has previously written for LouisianaSeafoodNews.com, 100%TunisianOliveOil.com, The Frederick Gazette, Lagniappe Magazine, and TheGreenBrideGuide.com.
A graduate of Tulane University with a Masters in Environmental Biology, Del Bianco has studied minnow spawning in the streams of North Carolina, adjustments in leaf epidermal UV transmittance of plants on the Big Island of Hawaii, and community ecology and trophic cascades in the jungles of Nicaragua.

Veronica Del Bianco is based in the heart of New Orleans just a street car ride from the French Quarter. And despite her pick-up truck driving husband, her love for po’ boys, and her devoted hound dog, she cannot hide the fact that she is, indeed, a transplanted “yankee” from the Mid-Atlantic.
