Eco Weekly Wrap-Up

Old Vine cabernet from Chateau Montelena, Napa...

The Eco Weekly Wrap-Up is where I share what I’m willing to admit what I’ve been reading and watching on the internet.

1. The Warming Wine Regions by Suemedha Sood, BBC

Say it ain’t so!  According to a recent study by Stanford University, climate change could cut Napa Valley’s premium wine production in half in the next 30 years.  Maybe when the wine glass is empty climate change will become a regular dinner topic.

2. Car Lovers Like Mass Transit More Than They Think by Eric Jaffe in The Atlantic

Public transit is to adults what vegetables are to children. Something that you don’t think you like until you’ve given it a try.

3. Jazz for Cows

A little something for the “Who Dat Nation”.  Jazz musicians playing “When the Saints Go Marching In” for cows in the French countryside.  And the cows are listening.  What’s black and white and gold all over?  The Moo Dat Nation!
